July Swap

I've been really bad about getting my swaps out by the 6th of every month. This month I'm ahead of schedule and it feels good!!! I finished these cards last week. I mailed one to my upline to make sure it would get to her  with all the rhinestones still attached without extra postage before I send the rest out. She got her card today so I'll be mailing the rest tomorrow. This card was cased from Debbie at splitcoaststampers.com.  I loved her colors but I wanted to play with the new Stampin Up' In colors for 2013-2015.

This card uses the triple time stamping technique. It takes some practice to get the image completely stamped. This cared was a case from Donna Inks. I will try this technique again and make up my own colors and layout.

I love these bright colors!!!! My upline made the top card that I embellished up a bit for my card. Interesting card angle on that top card- ha!

World Treasures

I started a swap last June through Stampin' Connection - SU demonstrators only boards.  It was a 6-6-6 swap.  6 cards to 6 people for 6 months.  I know, bad numbers but it was really fun and I generally made 8 cards so mine was really 8-6-6.  This stamp set debuted in the 2012-2013 catalog but carried over to the current catalog.  I shamelessly cased it from Do Stamping with Dawn.  I really like her stuff.  Here is another card I did for the 6th swap that I found on her blog:
